Sking in Sälen in Dalarna

Let's start with everyone's all time favorite, Sälen. It was here that we first learned to ski, and there is a nostalgic, romantic glow over this cross-country skiing paradise in Dalarna. There are almost 250 kilometers of prepared ski tracks, from short tracks in forest and mountain surroundings ideal for anyone skiing with children, to longer tours right across the spectacular mountain. Skiing in Funäsfjällen/Tänndalen in Härjedalen

Funäsfjällens cross-country ski track is on of the world's longest continuous cross-country track system, following the valleys and mountains throughout Funäsfjällen. Winding through valleys and over high mountain terrrain, Funäsfjällens track system is a total of 300 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski tracks. Read more here.

Skiing in Harsa/Järvsö in Hälsingland

 The snow safe location Harsa is situated at an altitude of 400 meters and here the first snow usually arrives in October and lasts well into April. With 80 kilometers of well-groomed ski tracks in stunning natural surroundings, it caters to all levels of fitness and skills. Tullinge: The yellow 5-km track from Brantbrinks IP. Incredibly beautiful skiing through the forest that will make you say "it feels like you are in the mountains"! Read more (in Swedish) here

Blissinge: Well-groomed artificial snow tracks, charming natural tracks and convenient parking. We usually enjoy a packed snack in the sun by the club cabin afterwards. Read more (in Swedish) here.

Ågesta: A gathering place for all cross-country enthusiasts in Stockholm. Here, those training for Vasaloppet coexists with fitness skiers and beginners taking their first skiing strides. Well-groomed artificial snow tracks and natural snow tracks. Easy to get there by bus. Read more (in Swedish) here.
