Amelia Hiking Pants Black

I bought this hiking pants very last minute for a trip to Scotland. I needed something waterproof for rainy days with practical pockets for phone and other things. And it had to be comfortable to move in (where I had not the best experience from other brands). I went for a more spacious size to fit in my bottom and thighs, which results in a little gaping at my waist. With more time ahead, I could have looked for a more curvy model. But it was so comfy to wear for hiking and climbing in the Highland mountains and my phone was well protected and easily accessible in the zipper pocket.

Jag har testat många vandringsbyxor och det finns inga som har lika bra passform som dessa. För en gångs skull är de helt framtagna för kvinnors kroppar! Jag har ganska smal midja och stor rumpa med breda höfter - en olycklig kombination när man ska hitta byxor som passar. Men inte med dessa! De passar utmärkt. Alla andra byxor får skämmas nu.

Så sköna byxor! Jag har provat massor men haft svårt att hitta några som var sköna och hade bra fickor. Dessa fyller båda kriterierna!

Bra passform och snyggt utseende.

Har provat flera olika märken och modeller på fritidsbyxor, men på mig har de alltid antingen varit för snäva i midjan men lagom kring låren eller vice versa. Dessa från Astrid wild passar bra i både midja och kring höfter/lår. Har köpt dessa i strl 42, vilket jag nog inte gjort om jag inte följt storleksguiden men den stämmer mycket väl och jag är nöjd med passformen.

These pants feel like they are made just for my measurements personally, Usually size charts can be deceiving but this size chart is spot on. My waist is 66 cm, hips 90 cm and inside leg length (to the floor) is 83 cm. I bought 34 in length regular. According to Astrid Wild the inseam is 79 cm and that is correct. Usually the inseam the manufacturer gives is much longer than in reality so I'm positively surprised. It's hard to find pants long enough for an otherwise slim body. And this is only the regular, not even tall length.

The fabric is strong. It repels water and dirt but it's also comfortable and stretchy when squatting and moving around. I love that there are so many pockets and also at the thigh area so they are not restrickting movement. These pants are perfect for outdoor activities but also tidy enough for everyday outfits. I love warm colors (as I'm warm undertone myself as well) and the camel fits in with my other clothing. I know it's an outdoor brand but I'm so in love with the fit and quality I wish they'd make a more formal version of these with a slim cuff and elegant look.

Most pants are too tight on the legs but too big around the waist because they are not made for women with muscles… these fit perfectly and are super comfy to wear.
