Five years ago, we founded Astrid Wild after recognizing that most outdoor wear was designed by men, for men. Like many everyday essentials—such as safety belts—outdoor wear has traditionally been created with the male body as the standard, often leaving women with "shrink pink" versions of men’s clothing.

Since 2019, we’ve been working hard to change that by designing a complete outdoor wardrobe for women—from base layers to shell outerwear (with shell pants coming soon!). We challenged the traditional outdoor industry by creating fashionable AND functional clothing made to celebrate the unique beauty of the female form. This dedication has resulted in iconic fits and the largest size range in the Nordics, offering 42 pants sizes.

Now, we’re taking a moment to pause, reflect, and consider our next steps. We want to dive deeper into ways to make a difference for as many women as possible, and we’re committed to staying true to our mission: to make outdoor life more inviting, inclusive, and comfortable for all women."
