Oversized but great jacket!

Very useful and looks great on. I like the hood which is big enough to cover my bicycle helmet. I chose a smaller size than usual but it's still big enough to wear a warm sweater under. Perfect!

To be honest I wasn‘t sure if the price would be worth it, but I can tell, it is ❤️ I’m wearing the 4XL and I was searching for the right jacket for a long time. I needed something light protecting me from wind and rain all four seasons of the year. When it‘s cold outside my Perfect Match is the Minna Wool Fleece Jacket.
I‘m absolutely happy with my poducts by Astrid Wild. I feel safe, comfortable and still have a feminine figure in it. Thanks for making these beautiful items! All the best!

I’ve never owned a good outdoor jacket before—mainly because I could never find one that fit me properly. I have quite a curvy figure with a bigger chest, bum, and hips, a small waist, and slim shoulders. If a jacket fit my shoulders, it would be too tight around my chest and hips, and if it fit my hips, it would be too loose everywhere else.

I thought about buying this jacket for a long time since it’s a big investment, but I finally decided to treat myself with an early Christmas gift from my family (thank you, Mum and Nana!), and I don’t regret it one bit!

I ride my bike to work every day, and in the past, I used to walk in the rain so I could carry an umbrella. But this autumn, I’ve been cycling even in cold, rainy weather, and it’s been a game-changer. I stay completely dry without feeling sweaty. I also paired it with the Minna fleece, which is a fantastic combination.

I wear this jacket and fleece every single day and have never been this happy with a piece of clothing. Highly recommend!

Really thrilled with my new jacket that is going to go everywhere with me. I love that it is black and will go with everything and I love all the pockets (for various things ) and the way you can adjust ( back of head, waist etc - very feminine ) When I travel it will be the first thing I pack !

Sitter så himla fint på den kvinnliga kroppen och jag älskar färgen som är lite kall salvia-grön. Har använt jackan varje dag sen den kom och älskar att jag kan ha samma jacka i stan som på skogsutflykten och börjar det regna så känner jag mig bara extra smooth som bara kan fortsätta i samma outfit 😍

Jag behövde en ny regnjacka eftersom min gamla Eco-Shell från Fjällräven började gå sönder, och var dessutom för liten i strl XL. Det stod mellan en ny Eco-Shell jacka i strl 2XL, eller att skaffa Emma-jackan från Astrid Wild, eftersom de är i samma prisklass och med liknande kvaliteter.

Jag skulle säga att det som skiljer Eco-Shell mest från denna jacka positivt är att deras tyg känns ännu mer high-tech, mjukt, tyst, och andas kanske ännu mer. Men! Alla andra egenskaper gjorde att jag valde Emma-jackan, för Sympatex-tyget i denna jacka känns fortfarande riktigt bra, och jag kunne känna mig helt lugn i att passformen/storleken skulle vara bra.

Tyget känns skönt, det är mycket mer behagligt än Gore-Tex, och kvaliteten känns hög och ganska robust. Alla detaljer känns likaså. För mig är det mer viktigt att en regnjacka andas bra än att den ska vara 100% vattentät i flera timmar i ösregn, Emma-jackan håller dig absolut torr ett bra tag i ruskigt väder utan att man blir helt klibbig. Stort pluss att man kan öppna under armarna och ventilera.

Jag skaffade en 2XL men skulle lätt kunne tagit en storlek mindre, nu är jag dock säker att jag får plats med mina mest bylsiga ylletröjor under och fortfarande har bra comfort och rörlighet! Gillar jättemycket att det finns en dragsko i midjan att justera, samt en längst ner på jackan, det gör den väldigt anpassningsbar. Kardborreband på handleden gör att ärmarna sitter bra även om dom var lite långa på mig.

Tycker det är underbart att den går ner lite längre över höfterna och skyddar mot kyla/vind, samtidigt som den inte är så lång att den är opraktisk att t.ex cykla med. Dragkedjan som kan öppnas åt båda håll öker rörligheten ännu mer, och jag uppskattar att man även kan knappa igen den lätt med knappar. Huvan funkar fint på en hjälm, och jag gillar den lilla extra skärmen man kan fälla ut. Och jag ÄLSKAR alla fickor!

Jag är jättenöjd med min jacka och känner att jag valde rätt, den kommer vara en perfekt regnjacka under hösten och skaljacka under vintern! 💖

Finally a rain jacket that fits comfortably over warm layers and is breathable. Lots of pockets and a big hood. Adjustable cord waist allows you to vary the fit.

The Emma 3L Shell Jacket is a very adjustable, high quality outer shell. Since purchasing two weeks ago, I have used this for city commuting: cycling in windy conditions (very windproof) and walking in heavy rain (perfectly waterproof over the course of 40 minutes), and for glamping: sitting by a lake as the sun set and long forest walks. I like that I can wear this over thin layers with the waist cinched in and the under arm vents open (quite breathable) or over my Minna Minimalist Wool Fleece Jacket or another jacket (then, especially warm). There are accessible, cleverly placed pockets for everything!

The one thing I worried about was sizing and how this jacket would suit me based on my height (oh how I wish I lived closer to Stockholm to visit and be sized on site!). The sleeves are long, but can be cinched in via velcro and so they do not get in the way at all (although I would benefit from being able to cinch them smaller). When cycling, I need to unzip the bottom a little to avoid the back of the jacket constantly snagging on my bicycle seat.

There are ways to tailor the jacket to make it work specifically for you in different situations. I'm quite happy and confident with my investment. The Emma 3L Shell Jacket is one that I will be able to wear nearly year-round since it is endlessly customizable. I'm really looking forward to the Emma 3L Shell Pants in Black to have a full rain set!
